 Demonstration of normal knee position and expected anatomy via Video Ultrasound CD.

Hands on Ultrasound of the Knee and be shown some abnormal USS videos and static images of pathology of the knee while the scanning is proceeding to correlate the normal you are seeing with the abnormal that you might expect to see.

Go over the powerpoint quiz of abnormal cases of the Knee  in the Course booklet and further MRI videos of abnormal cases. Hands on :  Technique  followed by DUAL LCD teaching of abnormal vs normal for Lower calf, ankle and foot  pathology , followed by MRI/ Video ultrasound of actual pathology to simulate doing actual cases with pathology without need for such patients.  Crossover of MRI and Ultrasound cases for better understanding of role of MRI and Ultrasound in the Knee

HOMEWORK : VIDEO FILES OF MRI 10 CASES

Hands on Ultrasound of Carpal Tunnel,  Identification of hamstring muscles and calf muscles commonly injured and identifying the landmark for MCP and PIP joint assessment of synovitis.
