"The Basic Musculoskeletal ultrasound course is an excellent introduction to the absolute beginner in musculoskeletal ultrasond. The lectures and demonstrations by the faculty were very thorough and well-presented. The key aspect of the course was the hands-on practice with live models and close guidance by the faculty. The course material and manual are of extremely high quality and would not be out of place in a medical library or bookshop. The pre- and post-course examinations are useful as a self-assessment tool for the knowledge learnt. However, what stood out in this course was the practical assessment which re-enforces the practical skills which is of utmost importance in clinical practice. As a practising orthopaedic surgeon with no previous experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound, the course has given me great confidence in both knowledge and skills to use the ultrasound in my daily clinical practice."

MSK Ultrasound now a days is very demanding and necessary imaging modality. Before entering the course I tried to learn MSK ultrasound from books. But I hardly remember patient positioning and identify all structures during scanning. But, in the course each chapter is clearly and easily discussed with comparing normal and pathology and also extensive hands on training in a small group provides a clear understanding of the subject. No doubt it improves my confidence as well as my skill also. When I enter into the course with my basic knowledge, I obtained 42 marks out of 100 but at the end of the course in post test examination I get 85% out of 100, obtaining the highest mark. Thank you, Professor for your excellent effort to teach student in this course.
