Shopping or travel to airport to return home or take a 2 day sight seeing trip and factory outlet visit to Bandung - read this on the internet. Take the scenic train ride to Bandung. We can book the tickets for you for Saturday evening or Sunday .
Active volcano, flower village , nice meals in hills with view of city etc.
I recommend the Luxton Hotel in Bandung which is very central in location.
There is a shuttle bus service direct from Bandung to Jakarta International Airport arranged by Luxton Hotel so you do not need to return by Train.
Most factory outlet clothing more suitable for smaller built persons especially if you have teenage kids who are standard size you can gets lots of cheap nice clothes for them if you bring sample of their size to compare. Excellent collection of standard mens size casual clothing and ready made suits and Branded T shirts.
Larger built ladies - not much in Bandung for you.

Pasar Raya Block M - 3rd Floor - largest collection of craftware from all over Indonesia. Simply fantastic to observe and buy a few curios.

ITC - Ambassador Mall - lots of local shopowners who sell goods made by small factories or cottage industry . Semi leather jackets , watches , prescription lenses branded very cheap and durable made in 3 days so order on the first day.
Mangga Dua ITC - Open only 10am -5pm - so you need to go pre or post congress. It is near the airport so travel by cab is around US 10 .00 one way.
